Tahini & Dark Chocolate Brownies

These Tahini & Dark Chocolate Brownies are my new obsession, and I’m pretty sure they’ll become yours too when you try them! They’re fudgy, decadent and incredibly moreish. They also happen to be completely dairy-free, gluten-free and nut-free too.

I like to top these Tahini & Dark Chocolate Brownies with swirls of extra tahini, chunks of dark chocolate and a sprinkle of sesame seeds!

Tahini & Dark Chocolate Brownies (Dairy-free, Gluten-free, Nut-free Recipe)

Makes about 8 brownies

  • 1 cup of tahini + 4 tbsp for swirling at the end
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup oat flour
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate
  • 4 tbsp sesame seeds

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C and line a square brownie tin with baking paper.
  2. Beat the egg in a large bowl, then add in the tahini and maple syrup and mix well.
  3. Add the oat flour, cocoa powder and salt, and mix until combined, then fold in the chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate.
  4. Transfer to the lined baking tin, then swirl in the remaining tahini (you can use a fork to gently create swirls in the brownie mixture). Sprinkle some more chocolate on top along with your sesame seeds.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes, then allow to cool before slicing into squares. Store in the fridge for 3-5 days.
